Congratulations to Guillermo Babatz Torres, who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at ITAM, for his appointment as a trustee of the IFRS Foundation. The organization develops international financial reporting standards through its International Accounting Standards Board.
Babatz was president of the National Banking and Securities Commission from 2007 to 2012.He is currently a managing partner and a director of Atik Capital, S.C. He has a doctorate in economics from Harvard University.
