In the past several years, the Elliott School of International Affairs community has been fortunate enough to enroll several outstanding alumni of Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico who decided to pursue their graduate studies at The George Washington University. There's an exciting opportunity for any current or former students who are interested in pursuing a master's degree in international affairs this coming fall.
Due to a generous award from Carlos Slim, The George Washington University is now accepting applications for the fall 2013 semester from Mexican citizens interested in graduate study in international affairs, engineering, or business. There will be at least two scholarships available for the fall semester. These awards provide full tuition plus a very generous stipend for living expenses.
Elliott School applicants interested in being considered for this award must meet the following criteria:
The recipient must apply for admission to one of our ten Master of Arts programs or the Master of International Policy and Practice (MIPP).
-The recipient must be a citizen of Mexico.
-The recipient must have an outstanding academic record as evidenced by his/her undergraduate GPA and as measured by her/his performance on the GRE and TOEFL exams.
-The recipient must have demonstrated prior leadership experience either in his or her career or through undergraduate activities.
-The fall semester starts in late August, 2013. The application deadline is January 15, 2013. All application materials, including GRE and TOEFL scores, must be received by that date.
