Congratulations to the "Los Románticos" team, formed by our students Freddy Román Cepeda and Diego Terán Ríos (both Computer Science and Applied Mathematics students), along with Demian Ruiz Espinosa (Industrial Engineering and Applied Mathematics), for winning first place in the Sixth Annual Programming Contest, one of the activities of the ExpoESCOM.

Each student was awarded books, a tablet, a hard drive, and a blu-ray player.

The contest was part of the preparation for the Latin American regionals of the ACM-ICP. The qualification round to select Mexico's representative for the 2015 international championship will take place towards the end of next semester.
