Mexico’s new Aspen Institute is a civil society organization in Mexico City, which develops activities related to education, leadership, and public policy, through the promotion of open, pluralistic, and nonpartisan dialogues on issues and topics of importance to society. Ideals, ideas, values, leadership, and dialogue are the core of its activities.
Our rector, Dr. Arturo Pérez Fernández is among the directors as well as Juan Ramon Ramirez (Chairman of the Board and UNAM’s former rector), Luis Avalos Berrondo (Mabe president), Eduardo and Teresa Dondé (president, Rafael Dondé Foundation), Angelica Fuentes Tellez ( Omnilife Group President), J. Ramiro Garza Vargas (Group R, CEO), José Narro Robles (UNAM’s, rector) etc..
Its launch party was attended by our rector and other renowned dignitaries as Cesar Camacho (PRI President ), Gustavo Madero (PAN President), Jesus Zambrano (PRD President ) José Narro (UNAM’s Rector ), Gerardo Gutiérrez Candiani (CCE Chairman ), Agustin Carstens (Head of the Bank of Mexico), and Miguel Angel Mancera (Head of the Distrito Federal).
