Dr. Joyce Sadka was appointed Head of the Academic Department of Law, position she will occupy as of January 1, 2021. Sadka has been teacher of the Academic Department of Law, and Economy for more than 20 years, and she is currently part of the ITAM's Center for Economic Research. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from Rice University and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University. In addition, she has been a leader in our country in quantitative legal research, especially in the field of Labor Law.
Dr. Sadka will occupy this position in substitution of Dr. Jorge Cerdio, who will continue dedicated to teaching and research as a full-time professor at the Institute.
