ITAM was honored with the Silver Circle of Excellence Awards Program, awarded by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). It was awarded for the Alumni Relations Initiatives category, due to the outstanding project Redes ExITAM, an initiative of the Office of Alumni Affairs at ITAM.

CASE is one of the largest associations of educational institutions worldwide, supporting over 3,650 universities, colleges, schools and related institutions in 76 countries. 

The Office of Alumni Affairs at ITAM identified that a large portion of our graduates that have migrated are living in 20 cities around the world. Therefore, Redes ExITAM came to exist, with the objective of supporting them in strengthening their personal and professional growth, as well as their ties with ITAM.  

Currently, the project is active in 10 cities across five countries, while preparing for 8 new launches. Since it came to be in 2022, 39 events have been organized, with the participation of over 1,000 alumni. Besides, 23 alumni have dedicated over 800 hours of voluntary work to support this initiative.  

This year, the Circle of Excellence Award Program received over 4,223 projects from 629 institutions of higher education, independent schools and non-profit organizations from 28 different countries. The jury honored ITAM with this award, pointing out the technological creativity and exemplary execution of the Redes ExITAM program. 

These networks allow ITAM alumni to participate in different activities designed to strengthen networking abroad. Thanks to these initiatives, successful relationships between alumni have been established, providing an enabling environment for professional growth and the broadening of their contact networks.
