We congratulate Fátima Masse, former student of the Bachelor of Economics, an expert in politics and economics, who was recently appointed as Coordinator of the area focused on the analysis of #WomenInTheEconomy at the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO).
This project seeks to provide evidence on the implications of gender gaps on competitiveness; in addition, seeks to delve into the causes and possible solutions.
On September 14, the first study was published, in which the economic effects that COVID-19 could have on women were exposed. In this first publication Fernanda Avendaño, former student of the Bachelor in Political Science, also participated. She works as a researcher within IMCO.
