Dr. Vidal Romero presents papers at annual APSA meeting in Washington, D.C.

ITAM Political Science Chairman Dr. Vidal Romero presented two research papers at the annual meeting of the American Political Science Association held Sept. 26 to 28 in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Romero’s papers are titled “Is Communal Organization an Effective Deterrent to Crime? The Cases of Guatemala and Mexico” (with Carlos Mendoza, University of Notre Dame), and “Presidential Approval in Hard Times: Mexico’s War on Crime” (with Beatriz Magaloni and Alberto Díaz-Cayeros, Stanford University).
