Dr. Pedro Salazar Ugarte named director of UNAM’s Legal Research Institute

Congratulations to Dr. Pedro Salazar Ugarte, who earned a bachelor’s degree in law at ITAM, for his appointment as director of the Legal Research Institute at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México for the period of 2014 to 2018.
Salazar Ugarte holds a doctorate in political philosophy from the University of Turin. He has been a professor at various academic institutions such as ITAM, CIDE, the University of Siena, and the Universidad della Valle d’Aosta in Italy. In 2011 he received ITAM’s Award for Professional Merit in the academic sector.
