Dr. Bernardo Batiz Lazo publishes new book

Congratulations to Dr. Bernardo Batiz Lazo, who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at ITAM, for his most recent publication, The Book of Payments, Historical and Contemporary Views on the Cashless Society. The book includes contributions from other ITAM alumni, including Gustavo del Ángel Mobarak, Gabriel Manjarrez and José Eduardo Rivero García.
Batiz Lazo won ITAM’s Award for Professional Achievement in the academic category in 2015. He earned a master’s degree in applied economics in 1994 from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and a Ph.D. in business administration from Manchester Business School.
