Julio Alfonso Santaella named to INEGI governing board

Congratulations to Julio Alfonso Santaella, who holds a bachelor’s in economics from ITAM, for his designation as a member of the governing board of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
Santaella has a master’s and a doctorate in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He has worked in the central bank operations office of the Bank of Mexico. He served as a fulltime professor at ITAM as well as chair of the Academic Department of Economics.
