Congratulations to Dr. Denise Dresser, professor in the Academic Department of Political Science at ITAM, for being named by France as a Knight in the Order of the Legion of Honor.

Dresser has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from El Colegio de México, and both a master’s and a doctorate in political science from Princeton University. In addition, she has a noteworthy career as a journalist and analyst.

The Legion of Honor is France’s most important national distinction. It is granted not only to French citizens but to chiefs of state, prime ministers, members of the government and foreign ambassadors to France, as well as foreigners that France chooses to honor.
