With the goal of establishing a framework for collaboration between BANSEFI and the ITAM, Alejandra Del Moral Vela, general director of BANSEFI, the National Savings and Financial Services Bank, visited our institute.

During the signing of the agreement, ITAM President Dr. Arturo Fernández said this accord will allow our researchers to access information that is important for studies in the areas of business administration, finance, economics, actuarial sciences and social sciences. In addition, it will provide an understanding of the behavior of investors and of the current modern and thriving financial system that has been strengthened by the financial reform.

Alejandra Del Moral thanked the institute for its welcome, and stated her interest in gauging the progress of social banks with the help of prestigious research institutes, and in this way meeting the mandate of the Ministry of Finance. She said the agreement will also let ITAM’s students establish a link with a social banking institution that is making steady progress.
