Congratulations to Pedro Xavier Lazcano Díaz, who completed a certification course in Strategic Management in Public Administration at ITAM, for his recent appointment as general manager of the salt producer company Exportadora de Sal (ESSA), located in Guerrero Negro, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The National Mining Coordinator of the Ministry of Economy appointed him to direct ESSA, a Mexican company that is partnered with transnational corporation Mitsubishi and which is considered one of the main producers of salt in the world.

Lazcano Díaz, a native of the state of Mexico, earned his CPA accreditation at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM). He established his career in the public sector in the State of Mexico in administrative, financial and housing areas. He was a senior officer in the Ministry of Agrarian, Land and Urban Development (SEDATU).
