Congratulations to Dr. David F. Muñoz Negrón, head of the Academic Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations, who received the Recognition of Academic Merit Award for 2015 for his brilliant and distinguished career in the training of engineers in Mexico. The award was presented by the National Association of Engineering Schools (ANFEI). Dr. Muñoz will be honored as part of the XLII National Engineering Conference on June 15 in the city of Ensenada, Baja California.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Muñoz earned this recognition on the basis of the excellence in his career. His academic work is a worthy model for his colleagues. The ANFEI, as an advocate of academic quality, seeks to highlight the values within each institute, school and department that offers engineering programs.
