Joshua Zarate, an alumni of ITAM’s Industrial Engineering program, is a member of ITAM's team that was awarded second place worldwide in the 13th Annual Student Simulation Competition from the Institute of Industrial Engineers and Rockwell Software.

The Douglas Elliman Real Estate Foundation and the Real Shack Institute of Real Estate at the New York University, a division of the School of Professional Studies at New York University announced that Meghan Mulgrew and Josué Zárate, Masters degree candidates, have been awarded scholarships for the Winter 2014 term. The Douglas Elliman Scholars Scholarship recipients were selected through a rigorous selection process. These scholarships will help them pay their education at NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
