Upon a unanimous vote of 70 votes in favor, the Senate confirmed the nomination sent by Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto to extend the appointment of Diana Bernal Ladrón de Guevara, who completed ITAM’s certification course in Tax Law, as director of the Office of the Taxpayer Advocate (PRODECON) for a second four-year term.
She was representative in Iztacalco borough from 1997 to 2000 and a federal deputy. She also served as a judge in the Sixth Regional Metropolitan Chamber of the Federal Court of Fiscal and Administrative Justice.
Diana Bernal Ladrón de Guevara has a bachelor’s degree in law from Iberoamericana University. She specializes in injunctive relief for the Institute of Judicial Specialization of the Supreme Court of Justice in Mexico.
