De 9:30h a 19:00h
El foro “La inseguridad pública/ciudadana en América Latina: un desafío regional” intentará arrojar luz ante uno de los más apremiantes problemas de México y América Latina.
Dicho evento es organizado de manera conjunta por el Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), la Universidad de Stanford y el Programa de Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD) y tiene como objetivo profundizar en el análisis crítico de la inseguridad en América Latina a partir del diálogo interdisciplinario.
El foro busca convertirse en una plataforma permanente que vincule a esta red de académicos a nivel hemisférico con los tomadores de decisión.
Las actividades se realizarán el 11 y 12 de marzo de 2013 y constarán en una serie de ponencias por expertos académicos, líderes sociales y funcionarios públicos.
Forum “The Public/Citizen Insecurity in Latin America: a Regional Challenge”
Objectives FSC
• Deepen the critical analysis of insecurity in Latin America through an interdisciplinary
dialogue and creation of methodological tools.
• Create an interdisciplinary network with academics at a hemispheric level focused on the
study and comprehension of insecurity.
• Share the findings and recommendations that this network will produce with key actors and
decision makers of the region.
• Constitute an annual Forum-Conference of citizen security in Latin America, with a high
degree of academic analysis, open to dialogue with government officials and authorities.
