Vivian Garciacano wins International Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to Vivian Garciacano, who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from ITAM, for winning the English-Speaking Union International Public Speaking Competition (IPSC) held in May in London. Garciacano was one of 48 contestants from 45 countries. After taking part in an intense semi-final stage, she was named winner in the final stage of the competition held in Stamford Bridge stadium.
The IPSC is the largest contest of its type. Each year national winners from all over the world gather for a week that includes social and cultural events in London. Participants, who range from 16 to 20 years of age, get to share ideas and compete for the title of best young speaker in the world.
