Congratulations to José Antonio Meade Kuribeña, who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from ITAM, for his appointment as Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development.
Meade Kuribeña earned a bachelor’s degree in law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a doctorate in economics from Yale University. He was Mexico’s Secretary of Energy in 2011 and then Secretary of Finance from 2011 to 2012. He was Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Relations from 2012 until his new appointment this year.
