Congratulations to Dr. Gerardo Pérez Cavazos, who has a bachelor’s in economics from ITAM, upon his hiring as an assistant professor of accounting at Harvard Business School.
Gerardo Pérez Cavazos has a doctorate in accounting from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. His main research interests are the role of information in decision-making by businesses, the role of taxation in corporate policy, and the processing of information in financial markets. His principal teaching topics are financial accounting, analysis of financial statements, taxation, and business strategy.
